At first, I was a little skeptical of the sauna program. I did do some research and after reading the success stories from others (online) I thought I might just give it a try.

Painkillers – killing more than pain

Painkillers are now killing more people than heroin and cocaine COMBINED according to recent DEA statistics.

We at Pür Detox have seen a tremendous increase in opiate addiction and clients requiring opiate detox and treatment.

According to those same DEA statistics opiate painkiller sales – which are ONLY for the registered and legal distributors of opiates – rose 90% between ’97-’05.

When I began the program I had a lot of trouble concentrating due to the abuse of opiates and various other drugs. I also had no energy and had pain, depression and an overwhelming feeling of hopelessness. I completed the Sauna Detox ification program clear minded, emotionally stable and happy and now have a new outlook on life! Also, I don’t have the cravings that I thought I would, which makes it so much easier. - E.H. – March 2011

According to a recent study, Main tops the nation in prescription drug abuse. Since 1998, Mainers have consistently sought out rehabilitation facilities to handle addictions to non-heroin opiates-such as the powerful painkiller Oxycontin-at rates significantly higher than in other states or in the nation as a whole. State officials are putting safe-guards in place to cut down on the number of addicted patients. Why pain killers?

New life after opiate abuse

“As a result of abusing opiates over the last 3-4 years I found myself alone at the bottom of a deep dark hole. Taliban – At least they were destroying Opium Production

Who are the Taliban? I’m not too sure. They don’t look like nice guys at all. Of course all my data comes from media controlled outlets from the U.S. mainly. But from all sources I can see they look pretty darn strict on the population.

I remember reading a NY Times article last month about soaring opiate abuse amongst our military troops. Something like several hundred times more military personnel seeking treatment for opiate abuse last year compared to several years back.
