At first, I was a little skeptical of the sauna program. I did do some research and after reading the success stories from others (online) I thought I might just give it a try.

This is so strange, but convincing. I had to share it.

During a lecture on Essential Oils, they told us how the foot soles can absorb oils. Their example: Put garlic on your feet and within 20 minutes you can ‘taste’ it.

Some of us have used Vicks VapoRub for years for everything from chapped lips to sore toes and many body parts in between. But I’ve never heard of this. And don’t laugh, it works 100% of the time, although the scientists who discovered it aren’t sure why. To stop night time coughing in a child (or adult as we found out personally), put Vicks VapoRubgenerously on the soles of your feet, cover with socks, and the heavy, deep coughing will stop in about 5 minutes and stay stopped for many, many hours of relief. Works 100% of the time and is more effective in children than even very strong prescription cough medicines. In addition it is extremely soothing and comforting and they will sleep soundly.

Just happened to tune in A.M. Radio and picked up this guy talking about why cough medicines in kids often do more harm than good, due to the chemicals in them This method of using Vicks VapoRub on the soles of the feet was found to be more effective than prescribed medicines for children at bed time. In addition it seems to have a soothing and calming effect on sick children who then went on to sleep soundly.

My wife tried it on herself when she had a very deep constant and persistent cough a few weeks ago and it worked 100%! She said that it felt like a warm blanket had enveloped her, coughing stopped in a few minutes. So she went from; every few seconds uncontrollable coughing, she slept cough-free for hours every night she used it.

If you have grandchildren, pass this on. If you end up sick, try it yourself and you will be amazed at how it works.

Generally, medical doctors will prescribe drugs to their patients without fully explaining the side effects (or the classification of the drug) to the patient, such that he or she has a clear appreciation and understanding of the consequences of taking that medication. The legal term for this is “informed consent”.

The prescription drug may be addictive.  It may be have serious short and long term side effects, e.g., the persons ability to function, think clearly, reason, sleep, may be impaired.

If you watch any advertisement for medications, most have such an absurd number of side effects that out-weigh the benefits.

It is almost amusing if it were not for all the harm it causes.

One also has the legal right to create and put in force an Advanced Psychiatric Directive. This is a legal document which could be designed to refuse any anti-psychotic, psychotropic, psychoactive, or electroconvulsive treatment.

If one does not know ones rights in regard to medical treatment, one can become a victim of ingesting a medication, even though prescribed by a physician. One needs to take control and responsibility for their treatment.

Statistics show that prescription medication are 16,400% more deadly than terrorists.

Scary? You bet.

Will anyone be considered normal anymore? Changes are due to be made in the Diagnostic Statistics Manual in 2013. The last DSM (DSM-IV) came out 16 years ago. The proposed changes for the next DSM have been a decade in the making. The changes include broadening what use to be considered a fact of life (mild sadness and bad feelings) and turning it into a psychiatric illness that is to be treated with medication. Has something upset you mildly or do you have “mild anxiety depression”? Are you angry at something or do you have “temper dysregulation”? It is painfully obvious that the pharmaceutical industry is using this to increase their profit margin even more. This new addition of the DSM intends to codify and label any and all human woes for simplification of diagnosing any all people for standardization of insurance coverage and medication distribution. Anyone and everyone can be labeled with a disorder.

Dr. Alan Schatzberg, President of the American Psychiatric Association told Judy Woodruff of PBS Newshour, “insurance companies will in fact pay for benefits for treatment, whether they be psychosocial, or pharmacologic, or somatic, or other forms of treatment, for specific conditions. And those conditions have to be specified somewhere.”

Even experts in that field are disagreeing with it! Dr. Allen Fraces (one of the chairmen responsible for the release of DSM 4) quoted “DSM5 would create tens of millions of newly misidentified false positive ‘patients’, thus greatly exacerbating the problems caused already by an overly inclusive DSM4. There would be massive over-treatment with medications that are unnecessary, expensive, and often quite harmful. DSM5 appears to be promoting what we have most feared – the inclusion of many normal variants [like grief] under the rubric of mental illness, with the result that the core concept of ‘mental disorder’ is greatly undermined.”

Dr. Frances also told Judy Woodruff of PBS Newshour, “And we thought we were being extra careful about everything we did, and we wanted to discourage changes. But, inadvertently, I think we helped trigger three false epidemics, one for autistic disorder that you mentioned, another for childhood diagnosis of bipolar disorder, and the third for the wild overdiagnosis of attention deficit disorder.”

One of the disorders up for debate is post-traumatic embitterment disorder, a disorder that covers every person that has ever held ill feelings even for a short period of time. To temporarily linger over a bad experience in life is all too human however, according to the APA, it should be treated with drugs.  It’s a sobering fact, that perhaps, we should all start questioning the people writing this book. This is not science! This is part of the pharmaceutical agenda to make more money.

The bottom line is that we all have difficult times in life that we go through. There are other handlings besides drugs. The drugs are not helping you but yet the psychiatrists continue to prescribe them. If you or someone you know are taking psychiatric medication, call our helpline. When I first started the Sauna Detox Program I could barely concentrate on anything. My body was always tired and achy and I was still physically craving drugs. Now that I am finished with the Sauna Program I have an extreme lust for life. All I want to do is play and experience new things. I have a lot more energy now!

I was living in a cloud since I was 14. Smoking weed and leading to other harder drugs and eventually to the hardest – crack cocaine. I thought I could never feel good about myself and never get my life back. I was a living mess on the road to death.

I have to admit that in the beginning, I was a bit skeptical of the process. Now having gone through the program thus far, I am totally impressed and convinced. I wasn’t sure what to expect as the program was progressing, but as it did, emotional and physical symptoms I had forgotten, or didn’t even realize were there, came out. For example – the irritability (unprovoked) that I ran through, and the somatic symptoms of a prior surgery on my ankle. Fascinating!

When the day approached, as stated in the book, I “knew” when I was “done”. I was amazed. No thunderbolts or lightning or drama – it was subtle, yet profound sense of purpose, resolve and calm.
